Facelift – Philadelphia – Procedure Types
Published on October 1, 2013 by Scott Brenman
There are a lot of different types of facelift procedures that are designed to fit different types of faces and needs. A variety of factors go into determining the type of facelift that is right for you. The facelift procedure that fits for one person will not likely be right for another.
For example, a deep-plane facelift is specially designed to correct deepening nasolabial folds, which in layman’s terms are partly the cause of sagging cheeks. There is also the mid facelift, which focuses on the cheeks but can address other issues like the malar crescent—the appearance of a crescent-shaped fullness along the cheek bones.
Speaking with an experienced plastic surgeon such as Dr. Scott Brenmanis key to understanding which procedure is right for you.
