About Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are one of the many skin care treatments offered by Dr. Brenman. It’s a fairly advanced and extensive treatment option, removing the top dermis layer of your skin. In doing so, this reveals a fresh layer beneath that’s vibrant and young.  Essential, this works by applying a chemical solution to your skin. It will stay on your skin for a period, setting deeper into the upper layer. When the solution has solidified, it can be peeled away. You can think of this as an advanced face mask that works deeper and yields longer-lasting and more impressive results. Chemical peels also tend to come in different strengths: light, moderate, and deep.

Average Cost of Chemical Peels

The most recent data puts the average cost of a chemical peel at around $670 in the US. It’s important to stress that you shouldn’t use this as a direct quote for chemical peel treatments. It takes into account all the prices charged by doctors up and down the country. Some chemical peels are as low as $150 while others are as high as $3000.  You can use these figures to see a general ballpark for the treatment costs, but we advise you to book a consultation for Dr. Brenman to get an accurate quote.

Factors That Influence Chemical Peels Costs

Chemical peel costs are influenced by a series of factors. Some of these are similar to other cosmetic treatments. For instance, the location of the clinic, the doctor’s experience, etc. However, chemical peels will vary in price also depending on their strength.  Light chemical peels are the cheapest as they can often be carried out at home. Moderate/medium chemical peels are slightly more expensive as they offer a more thorough treatment. Finally, deep chemical peels are the premium versions that offer the most extensive treatment. Of course, the specific chemicals used in the peels can influence costs as well.

I researched and thought Dr Scot Brenman would be best. Well suffice it to say I am not thrilled with my results. Ultimately my tummy is flatter which was what I wanted but my belly button is 2 inches above the incision line which I hate! He promised lipo which til this day I’m betting he didn’t do! Also his aftercare was thee WORSE! He never followed up with me after the removal of my drains! No way will he receive another one of my hard earned dimes!” *
This visit was a pleasure! Dr. Brenman thoroughly explained my options and did seem rushed. He answered all my questions and made me comfortable with making my decision. Gina was friendly and helpful in facilitating scheduling etc. I feel confident in my choice.
