Viewing the results of previous patients can help prospective patients in two ways. One way it can help is by enabling prospective patients to get a feel for the overall quality and consistency of a Plastic Surgeon’s work. The other way it can help prospective patients is by showing what kind of outcomes are realistically possible. While each patient comes in with different goals and mental and physical needs, before and after galleries can give a good general overview of the type of results commonly achieved to help prospective patients visualize the kind of results they’d like to achieve. All of this helps to open up a dialogue between patient and Plastic Surgeon about the desired outcome.
